Hi guys,

Just a quick one, I have a NZXT enthusiast and I have both the top 20mm fan slots with fans in.

I'm getting reaaaaaaaally picky about the noise coming from my pc, so do you think it would make my temps go up by a huge amount if I took them out and filled over the holes with deadening?

I have decent air cooling in the case with a Prolimatech Genesis etc. just don't want to do it and take it out, if anyone else has done it that'd be useful. :D

Thinking of taking out the watercooling grommets to and giving the back panel abit of deadening, as I will never watercool. Want any gaps to let out noise gone. :o

I think you mean '200mm' :D.

If you say you have decent cooling then i can't see it making much different. A way you could test is making a note of the temps with all fans. Then disconnect the top fans and see if the temps have changed.

Oops, yes 200mm. :D

To be fair, the Prolimatech Genesis is so large I don't even think the one fan even sees any hot air as the fans on the cpu cooler fire it out the back, there is never any dust on the one fan at all so I think the Genesis is just bypassing the air past it.

And that's a good shout.

Then I think I may replace all my case fans with vipers as these nzxt enthusiast ones could be quieter.

Sorry yes the Phantom, as you may be able to tell I was half asleep when I posted!

The fan controller I always have it on low but it's still pretty loud, currently 8 fans in there which is why I may just look at losing a few as I doubt it will make temps a huge amount difference.

I haven't got a side panel fan in there. I have, one intake, 2 side panel 120mms over the hard drive bays. 2 200mm at the top, 1 exhausting air out and then 2 on the Genesis.
