A while back I created a thread about chopping boards which seemed to provoke both amusement and confusion amongst the general populous, as few could understand my OCD-like desire for colour-coded boards in my kitchen.

And amongst the replies was a little gem from Robbie G, which provoked this response from me. And, until yesterday, that's where my knowledge of his board of choice rested and my opinion lay.

But having used one in anger at long last, I can safely say it was probably the finest chopping board I have ever had the pleasure of using. Thin, light, strong and with lovely feedback from your cutting motion when in use, they have shot straight to the top of my 'stuff to buy with spare money' list.

If you're in the market for a new chopping board and are one of those people who feel that one board is enough* for every kitchen task, you really ought to pick one of these beauties up.

*unless you're made of money.
