IIRC, mk1dubba was disabled. He claimed he insured his golf through motability, thats why he could drive at 16 and insure a well modded Golf.

He also claimed he was doing a rally apprenticeship for Peugeot and had a 330D which was probalby bs but I don't think this was proven.

He made a new account under the name Human torch but got



after accidently signing off as Salvatore :D

yeah, I was the one who talked to him and the other guy on the MSN account. It's all flooding back now :)

He got busted after posting in GD about how someone had a go at him for putting a scratch the length of his car after trying to squeeze his wheelchair past (he basically did it delibrately after the guy parked on the pavement). Lot's of "I'm in a wheel chair though, I couldn't help it" later someone posted a link to a video of him in his wheelchair doing wheelies and "hand brake" turns in the snow showing he wasn't quite as helpless in his chair as he would have had us believe.

we have had several incidences of folks trying to pass their dad's cars off as their own or at the very least failing to disclose that it wasn't theirs ;)

I remember the thread but i didnt see the video, I would love to see it :D
 
I remember a couple of months ago they guy who had the RX8 but no one believed him, so he went out and wrote all the things people asked him to on paper, took photos and posted them, along with his dads ferrari....what was the outcome of that? iirc he was telling the truth?

It was the story of him wanting to put a dump valve into a N/A car that set alarms ringing. But he was telling the truth about owning the RX8.

There were some brilliant replies in that thread! The title was "extreme wheelcharing" and people were replying taking the pee big style. Bit harsh I know but it was pretty funny! (read: very funny :D)

His name now is something like Blue Dragon?
 
I thought the portable sun was was quite good, closely followed by the guy with the Nova (gun9?) that merlin busted. He then got aggressive and said something like "yeah but you are all just internet warriors, i bet nobody would fight me". I bet he felt really manly :D

Nah i'd really rather not say. I haven't seen him post for a few weeks either actually so maybe he's gone....
