Top of the league!

God I'm absolutly buzzing, I play in the Huddersfield junior league for Netherton Under 18's and in about 10 years of playing I don't think we've achieved anything. However we played yesterday and got a great result won 6 - 0. The team above us drew and we're now top on goal difference with two games in hand aswell. It feels great we have a real possibility of doing something this year, and to top it off i managed to bag my first hat trick, playing right back too .

P.S we're in the final of the cup aswell so it gets even better.

Good achievement mate, know the feeling of finishing top in the league and winning the cup its great, the bragging rights it gives you in work is something else

I play in an astro nights league that involves local IT and other such companies so its great fun and a lot of the players you play against are old school / college / uni mates mostly because we all ended up going into the same profession so that makes it even more special.

Its also nice to belong to something and feel part of something, although when the chips are down and your at the other end of the table its not so special but still its great fun and thats what its all about at the end of the day.
