Given the flak that some manufacturers are getting at the moment (and for some it's deserved), wanted to say how brilliant Noctua support have been for me recently.

I have nearly 4.5 years old Noctua Chromax NF-F12 PWM fan that started developing a really loud ticking noise when the fan was spinning. Emailed Noctua support, who asked for the batch number from the fan and confirmation that it wasn't a mounting problem. After that, they said they would send me a new replacement and requested a photo of my old fan as proof.

So that 5 year warranty from Noctua is as good as the paper it is written on, excellent service from Noctua. That's how it's done and makes me think buying Noctua was a worthwhile investment for the quality and support.

These "Noctua are great" threads are getting boring. :p

In this day and age when tech companies are trying to take us for every penny (i.e. Nvidia) and food and energy companies are getting away with daylight robbery, isn't it absolutely awful that a company would give anything away or would honour a warranty without you needing to have done a consumer law degree! :)

OK, you do initially pay a premium for their products and there are slightly better and much cheaper heatsinks (Peerless Assassin) but damn, that Noctua aftersales service is legendary.

I have had both good and not so good from them really.. On their support end, for me personally, they were great when i wanted a AM4 bracket and some rubber strips/wire fan clips on a pretty old cooler they sent me it all in a few days and were fantastic. On the not so good side trying to deal with them from a business perspective their sales/marketing/pre-sales technical isnt that great. I needed some info on some of their coolers (For workstations so not their cheapest ones) and they were unhelpful really even though we purchase a significant amount of their coolers. I also asked them about upcoming product roadmaps, nothing and then i asked them specific information regarding the performance metrics of their coolers, their NSPR isnt a great gauge on their products cooling ability and they have stated on several occasions that coolers are able to cool specific cpus and havnt come close (NH-D15 + 13900KS For instance). Dont get me wrong they are great products but i get a feeling as a company, unless you are buying 20,000+ Units from them they have little time for you.

Not surprised, noctua are so overpriced they should be able to afford good service since you pay over quadruple the cost they wont hesitate to send replacements
