Well i remeber the original top spin been pretty poor, so i wouln't expect much. I'd reccomend vitual tennis 3 over this. However for 6 quid you cant really go wrong.

The first one was great. I heard the second one was even better, but that was on the 360. Not sure about the PC version.

360 version was a good laugh, I certainly enjoyed it - mind you I never played online. If it's only 6 quid I'd buy it

Ok, I didnt buy this when I originally posted this thread as unsure if it was any good or not.

I am tempted to get Virtua Tennis 2009 but from what I have heard, it is VERY arcadey and I want something with a little more depth.

So, Top Spin 2, any good?

First two games were fantastic, third one blows. If you can pick up TopSpin 2 for that price then do it though; be warned that it's a game for people who understand tennis though...

I want a tennis game with more depth so it sounds perfect from what your saying

Still have it on 360. It's great. But most of the time, hard shot = win. But I only played on easy mode.

Was superb on the 360, no idea about the PC version. Wish I hadn't sold the game now.

More of a simulation than Arcade which is what I wanted.

Tempted to buy it myself, but need to buy myself a 360 controller or something.

I am using a 360 controller although see no reason why Keyboard cannot be used if your good with a keyboard anyway.

I have Top Spin 2 on the PS3 and its great.........once you get used to it!!

Virtua Tennis 08/09 is great for a (very) arcadey blast wheras TS2 rewards greater positioning and control! For the first few games I was mis-timing everything but once you get used to it its great!

Having said that, never played it on the PC!

I may get it as well. I loved the original on xbox, got to rank 2 online with it (doubles) never got in to the 2nd one due to playing a MMO, but now I am MMO free until September!!!!!
