I got the JS2000 for Xmas which is a battery bank primarily for jump starting batteries but has USB outlets for phones etc, then I bought a deeply discounted Michelin tyre inflator from Halfords. I didn't expect to be connecting the two together and sure enough I can't use the JS2000 to power the inflator as it's only input is from a 12v cig lighter socket. So I Googled and found USB to female cig lighter adaptors, founds loads in fact that all look the same like it's a dropship item, however all but one that I looked at state it's use is 8w max, the other was 10w, and most of them show pics of items to not use with them, tyre inflators being among them. Mostly looking on the rainforest btw. My Michelin box and manual has nothing to show on it's wattage a general Google search averages a tyre inflator uses 180w. So these little converters really do seem unsuitable although some comments say they're using it for that purpose.

Wondering if anyone has done similar and has a solution?

what was wrong with just plugging the tyre inflator directly to your car via cig lighter ?
Multiple reasons, but the main one is that I don't use the car all that much these days since I took up cycling for all my short distance trips and I want to keep the battery healthy. It's why I was gifted the JS2000 because it kept going flat, which I partially remedied by disconnecting the negative terminal. I have a MK4 Golf with original rims which gradually lose pressure so I pump them up a lot which again isn't going to help the car battery, so again the JS2000 fills that role.
