Looking to upgrade my heatsink, where ive got a 200mm side fan, from the cpu to the fan is 140mm, so most tall heatsinks wouldnt fit, unless i removed the fan of course, but i dont really want to do that, i like my side fan.

Any ideas of one of them flat type heatsinks, or a decent heatsink that would fit.

your best bet would be to use one of the fully contained watercoolers (which one depends on your budget i guess.

also, a really radical suggestion would be one of these: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-030-SY&groupid=701&catid=57&subcat=1395

its a top down cooler which can fit a 200mm fan on it. however, i cant seem to find the dimensions for it anywhere :(

*edit*
ignore the mahoosive scythe. the reviews ive read seem to say its pretty poor. comparable with coolers you can get for £30

Cheers, ive heard nothing but good things about noctua stuff as well.

What are those CooltIT water systems like, are they same as the corsair hydro series?
