Topless Model Shots

Excellent shots.
They didn't look HDR to me, just bery well balanced.
Would you give some hints on the arrangement of lighting/flashes and the 'oil effect' you mention?

Thank you :)

This is the basic setup, showing the two photos (hopefully the image shows up).

The Speedlites were two Yongnuo YN568EX's and I used three Yongnuo YN-622C wireless triggers (camera and lights on manual).
The left Speedlite in each shot was mounted on a stand.
The right one I had to hand hold, I lost my hot show mount, so couldn't mount it.
Both shots used focus stacking, so it was just guess work where I repositioned the the right speedlite after I'd refocused the camera for each shot.

The first shot, I used a 24-70 and the second a 70-200.

The oil effect is just the Oil Paint filter found in Photoshop CC (maybe in CS6 as well).
That's just sliding the sliders until you get a result you like.

Thank you very much for your reply.
Just purchased a 565ex so helps me to understand the ways to get the best from it.
Think i really need to get the off camera system too!

I didn't realise each photo was a stack of multiple exposures though. Works really well.
Something else for me to play around with :)

My pleasure :)
