I want to create a 3D map of a small area and show it changing over time. There aren't that many data points that I will actually need to display - most of it will be data interpolation and the change will actually be calculated from a trend line anyway.

Can anyone recommend a good piece of software for this? If not can people suggest software to create a series of static images that I can 'morph' into one another...?

If not that can anyone recommend any software that I can use to make a reasonable 3D surface from a few relative points (and it will fill in the blanks)?
