Hello,

This christmas i gave a PAYG phone to my mates girl (11year old) which is on orange now as far as i know he sorted the Sim card out so he can top it up when he needs to but is it possible for me to top it up for her without having access to the account and her mobile ?

what i want to do is to just be able to pay like five pounds to her mobile number when she gets low, will a E top up do this ?

i could do that :-) its been a long time since i had or used a PAYG i was looking at being able to do it on line if i could

You'd need the phone if you got a top up voucher but if you had an e-swipe card its goes on the phone automatically as soon as the shop swiped the card :)

If you're using a top up card, you don't need the phone there. The only other way to do it would be to nominate a credit or debit card to the account, but that means the account holder could use it via the IVR/Web if they know the last four digits.

Pick up a top up swipe card in the supermarket, call 07973 100 450 from any phone and choose the 'register a top up card' option, then you can just hand the card and whatever cash you want to put on it over to any shop and the money will be put on her phone.

OK thanks sounds like the e-swipe is what i need then, her dad is a bit strict with her on her mobile and he only gives her 5 pound a month credit which is not a lot so i just want to be able to top it up for her on the odd occasion that she may need it without him knowing she has used it all.
