Topping up loop

Thanks for all of the reply's. The loop has been running for about 8 months and there are no signs of leaks anywhere on the loop. It very well could be due to trapped air pockets slowly releasing. I will have to try and re bleed the loop to see if it helps. Fill port is tight also so couldn't see that being an issue.

How much fluid are you having to add? A couple of drops or 20ml? More?

The way I know my loop is bled is that I cannot hear the water moving through the rads. With trapped air I can hear the water moving about - especially when I change the pump speed or first turn the system on.

To bleed I tip the whole system at various angles and give it a shake. Just ensure everything is sealed and that the pump is fully submerged at all times.

I would say 10m - 20ml at max. I cannot hear the water moving at all. I have a d5 pump set to 2 right now.

I thought I bled the system thoroughly as I was also tipping it in all angles and topping it back up in the process, but guess it wasn't enough.

Just checked all of the ports and they are all tight and no signs of leaks. I increased the speed of the D5 pump to 5 and didn't hear any movement of bubbles, even when tilting the case. With these tests I'm just going to top it up and monitor it, maybe the cause was just trapped bubbles.
