Thanks to @Nitefly for bringing this one to my attention. I only just started it but it looks really promising. So much Resident Evil nostalgia packed in it already in the first 10-15 minutes

Never heard of this, never played the silent hill games, but a big fan of the resi evil series, both old and the newer games are not bad

There is a demo on steam. But you can grab a steam key for under £3 if you look around

Doesn't load 21:9 for me, setting to 1440p in settings results in a 2560x1440 (16:10) image, setting to 4K results in a scaled up image and thus cutting off the top and bottom areas of game frame. That's quite lame...

It is a pre-rendered game bro...

This is a travesty, I wish to unsee this thread, the £3 could have bought 65% of a McPlant burger (man maths today lol)!

That's nothing. I wish I could unsee your Uncharted Legacy posts. Cost me £15 but worse yet 15 hours. Could not help it and completed in the end as was so close

But that's an excellent pair of games with ultrawide support, and you experienced an epic story saga sprawling stunning landscapes!

But the gameplay sucks ass. Who cares about ultrawide if you can't get that right The story and graphics is what kept me going

I have not gamed in about a week and finally had the chance to play this. Managed to get the generators back online and ready to enter the main hall

Not a fan of the enemy types, but overall enjoying it so far.

Did anyone else who got it here manage to play? Thoughts? I know mrk refuses as it is not ultra wide compatible

It's been on my wishlist since release but ive never got round to purchasing it, interested to hear peoples thoughts.

I got quite a bit further in. Pretty much what Nitefly said really.

Would definitely recommend it, just don't go in with high expectations and you will be pleasantly surprised.

Wish there were more games like this. All I would want is better story/voice acting and I am happy

Completed it recently. Overall enjoyed it and glad @Nitefly put it on my radar. Put it this way, I got a lot more fun out of it than I did Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection @mrk
I did manage to complete Uncharted 4, but The Lost Legacy I could not be asked with. Same bloody boring gameplay mechanics with the edition of boring lock picking system. The chase scenes are so unrealistic and boring, even 007 would not escape from such situations!

Anyway, back to Tormented Souls

Basically really liked everything about it except for the supernatural elements and voice acting. Had they had a better story and voice acting I think it would have been a more popular game.

I just love the pre-rendered backgrounds and this formula of games. I hope the developers make more.

@TNA glad you enjoyed it - the final sections were a little weaker but there’s a lot to enjoy with exploring the house.

Meanwhile, I’ve noped the **** out of Visage. Way, way too stressful - gives me anxiety just thinking about it - huuurghn!!

Yeah, the final boss could have been a bit better also. But can't complain much really. I wonder what the budget was to make such a game in this day and age.

If you do come across any other games like this that you enjoy, give us a heads up

I have just found this thread due to TNA mentioning it. I've played the first 3 hours or so and I am quite enjoying it.
