Hi,

hopefully a quick bit of advice for me as i'm looking at two Z690 overclocked bundles from OC as an update.

I'll be bringing over a 3080FE & a 1000w Seasonic power supply and I game at 3440x1440p 60+fps. I tend to play bigger new releases if they have a good story, simulations (racing & flight occasionally) Star Citizen etc if it helps to know.

I'm thinking of the following two bundles, i7 & i9, just curious if there is any reason at all to go for the i9 over the i7 for my usage? If I'm missing something then happy to take advice of a different direction too.

Thanks in advance

i7 is more than enough, save your money.
Have to agree. I'd get the 13700F if I was you, it's so much better value than both the 12600K or the 12900KF.
13th gen is out and with more cores and at a higher price so you might still get 12th gen.

Either way, you'd be happy with the 12900KF or 12700F. They are great CPUs.

Thanks everyone, really helpful replies and I was not aware that Raptor Lake was so close to release. I'll definitely hang on until the end of the month :)

Take a look at AMD 7000 series cpu they gave just been released, just a word of advice don't overpay for an overclocked bundle cpu,s are getting hotter most people are undervolting to keep them cooler.
