Torn between cases

And the cheaper (closer to my original budget):
Zalman Z9 Plus

It's gonna house an overclocked 2500k system and is going into a relatively dusty environment (teenager's bedroom!). Therefore, it needs to have good dust filters & be relatively quiet.

I think I'm leaning towards the CM 690 II at the moment but the Zalman is probably gonna be more than adequate for the job.

Just noticed these as well (look good for extra cooling & dust filters):

I would say the CM690 lite unless you think that you will need the external HDD dock.

ok the choice is now between the CM 690 II Lite and the Lancool.

I think it's looking like the Lancool (thanks for the suggestion Stulid).
