Just over a week ago I tore the muscle fibre in my right bicep and damaged the tendon slightly. I'm trying to get my self back in the gym as soon as possible, I was wondering if anyone's got any ideas for some gym workouts that require almost no arm work? I've been running, biking, ab work...and basically every other day is a leg day. I can't really think of much else I can do

3-4 leg days a week, ouch. Walking like John Wayne.

What you've listed is about as much as you can do tbh without involving the arms at all.

Out of curiosity how did you tear the bicep?

How the hell did you manage that?

I'm confused, isn't a bicep tear when the tendon comes off the bone?

That's kinda what I thought until I spoke to my doctor. There's different sorts of strain injuries, ranging from simply injuring a few fibres to completely tearing the muscle off the bone. I've only partially torn the tendon and muscle fibres.

I'd just put too much strain on my arms over a couple days. Had a little arm wrestling competition with my flat mates, moved all my tools and computer to my new house and worked out at the gym. Just did too much with it I guess haha!
