Torrent sites

I used to use torrent sites years ago but it seems that they are still pretty popular. What do people use them for and how do they get wrund the legalities? Surely, if our ISP sees lots of activity downloading torrents, it would ring alarm bells?

You can't get round the legalities, this is not the place to ask that kind of question, downloading copy written material is illegal

I use ip torrents but only for legal stuff

There are lots of people that use torrent sites. Does anyone actually use them for anything that isn't illegal?
