anyone suggest a good torrent client for me please
was using utorrent but i hear they have joined with bittorrent or something and everyone is boycoting it or something ?

any ideas please

All that rubbish about utorrent is false. It’s been brought by the person who wrote the original Bittorrent protocol that’s it. He has already said the program won’t be changing.

BitComet is horrible, as well as BitLord.

uTorrent is good, or use Azeures.

I used BitComet for a bit - no problems with it. Azureus is worse - it's a slow resource hog of a Java app, at least BitComet is proper code.

uTorrent is the best Windows torrent app, I use Transmission on the Mac.

using bitorrent at the moment - sounds like i shold give utorrent a try. does it have the same issue with tcp limits?

Azureus if you want the most features, uTorrent if you want something almost as fully-featured but much faster with a smaller memory footprint.

IIRC it behaves aggressively to get the maximum speeds, thus a lot of torrent sites won't let you connect with it.
