Toshiba 32WL56 32" Help

Can anyone advise if there were 2 versions of this model released?

Reason i ask is the Toshiba website shows the following;

CONTRAST RATIO as 800:1
BRIGHTNESS (cd/m2): 500

But a shop where I am to pick one up tomorrow shows the following on there website;

CONTRAST RATIO 600:1
BRIGHTNESS (cd/m2): 550

appreciate any help.

i wouldnt worry too much about the quoted figures, worry more about what you can see for yourself. Ive got one of the wlt58's, and im extremely happy with the pictures its capable of.

Well I picked one up.

The model no has a P on the end 32WL56P

It looks nice and big in my room.

I am not one for reading manuals but looks as though I may have to with this tv.

I am running it through a Digi FreeView box with an indoor ariel and where as this produced a good picture on my 28" JVC this is not so on this Toshiba 32WL56P ..........need to sort out an outside ariel.

the only time I have seen a 'P' on a model # is from a website based in France,so maybe yours has come from that side of the channel

Toshiba tech have told me that P = PAL.
