Just got a 32WLT66 for £700 so maybe the old ones are a bit cheaper.
Hugely impressed with it, imo a much better picture on SD than the rival samsungs I was looking at that everyone seems to rave over. Also looks nicer than my mates 37 LG though that may be because the extra 5" highlights how bad the SD picture can be (or cable may have higher bitrate than sky?). Otherwise the Tosh must have a better scaler or something. Ghosting is also a lot better than the LG and Philips sets I looked at, though the Bravia's seemed the best but are a bit pricey. Not yet tried any HD but should be decent enough, and the twin inputs are nice (not owning a console I can never see myself needing 3 HDMI inputs... Sky, DVD, Console - what else is there? ) No tacky shiny plastic surround either, that put me off the samsung one.
The sound is also very good considering that nearly all LCDs seem to have very poor speakers (compared with the 10yr old high end CRTs people are replacing that came with 40watt amps and 6/7" speakers) Obviously lacking on the bass but the quality is fairly good.
