Toshiba 6100 error code

Hello everyone, got a Tosbiba 6100 laptop next to me giving me some sort of error code on the AC LED. Have been searching around and can't find what it means, so was wondering if any of you lot knew what it meant. Its 8 long and goes short, long, short, short, long, long, long, short. This happens when you try and turn the machine no. Nothing else happens, and infact the only way to reset it is take out the battery!! Any ideas?

9 times out of 10 its the mainboard at fault, the other times its the battery, charger cpu or memory, you need the toshiba service manual for this model ideally to work out what the specific fault is.

couldnt see any that seem to match yours but it could be looping itself.
