What would you go for? A660 with a slightly long battery, slightly larger screen, cheaper price tag?

or is it worth that much more for the 5650 on the l650

If you plan to game, I'd probably get the one with the 5650. It's a better card (though not by miles), and it'll give you DX11.

mainly desk based, but occasionally take it out.

would the GT330m make that much difference for games??

Eh, not really. If you take a gander at those benchmarks, you'll see that they both get pretty similar 3D Mark scores. The 330M beats the 5650 in some games, whereas the 5650 beats the 330M in others.

330M has DX10 whereas 5650 is DX11 ready, although there aren't really any games out to take advantage of it.

I'd see which games you play the most and buy the card which is best suited.

If it doesn't bother you too much, then I'd save myself the £50.
