Toshiba Equium M70-339 Adapter

I've been looking for a replacement power adapter for this laptop for my dad as he lost his old one, and iv found out that it uses a 19V 3.42A power adapter type. I have been looking around and i have found a few but a lot of them state that they are 19V 4.74A instead of the 19V 3.42A that the laptop states is compatiable, would the 4.74A version still work fine with the laptop? It states on the place i am looking that it is compatiable with the Toshiba M70 Series but i am not so sure about this before i purchase it.

it will work fine, more amps is ok so long as the volts are the same, less amps and the unit probably wont charge at run at the same time.

4.74A is the maximum current you can draw from the PSU, it doesn't have to output that much current all the time. If the laptop only wants 3.42A, that's all it will get.
