Toshiba L450 Processor....

Laptops are difficult to upgrade cpu, as they are not designed to be used with a particular generation of chips. Plus, it would work out expensive unless you find a cheap 2nd hand one.
 
it's depend on the chipset. you could upgrade the processor if you know what is the chipset. but the problem is you have to strip the whole laptop to replace processor.
