i just got a laptop the other day it was purchased elsewhere 2nd hand toshiba p100, its pefect apart from the screen. Well the screen is nice apart from in one place there is a dull patch on the screen about 6 pixels maybe whenever im in a white screen there grey its like there is amount of dust or something, maybe becuase its a glossy screen there is something behind there
There is no sign that the machine has been opened it is only 8 months old, and is in perfect condition. So i dont know how else something could have got inbetween the screen.
The machine is still under warrenty so I am half temped to send it back to a repair agent to have this resolved. firstly would this be classed as a defect, or something i have to live wth, or is it something i should try and live with. The machine is going to used for gaming and it is only noticeable when I am on a white background, so its probably something i would get used to.
Has anyone heard of this problem with a TFT? Suggestions please, shall i call toshiba
