Toshiba laptop wont boot with 4 gig ram

I recently installed W7 64bit on my toshiba equium L350-10L to utilise the new 4 gig of ram (ddr2 5300 667Mhz) 2 x sticks of 2 gig and i get a blue screen during the boot cycle, i removed one stick and boots fine with just 2 gig, bios sees the 4gig of ram however it still wont boot, i updated the bios and still no joy! it also works with 1x 2 gig stick and 1 x 1 gig stick (3 gig) and windows sees this

the ram is a matching pair transcend 2x 2 gig DDR2 667 so-DIMMS CL5

533165-1399

any ideas?

Toshiba state the maximum RAM is 2GB.

What chipset is in it?

hi, chip set is intel GL960

processor: Intel T2370

running fine with 3 gig at the mo
