toshiba p300 20h

Hi, Sorry maybe is wrong place, but i couldn't find right thread. I have a toshiba p300 20h, screen is blank, no beeps or anything, just standard lights coming such as power, battery. Computer is looking for something on dvd drive and then power off. Is it main board or only cmos memory down. Is it possible to fix it or just trow it out.

i was suspecting that, so i'll take it out everything useful, and rest is going to bin, thank you for replay
