One of the directors at work bought his son a Toshiba Equium P200-1LR (That is the model name). Unfortunately his son dropped the laptop while it was powered on and it is now no longer to boot into Windows. Judging by some of the noises made by the hard disk, I suspect that it has been wrecked by the shock of being dropped.
I am proposing to replace the hard disk, however no recovery media appears to have shipped with the laptop, so I have no way of putting a legitimate version of Windows Vista back onto the laptop.
How do I go about procuring recovery media from Tosh, and how much is it likely to cost?
Also, could anyone please suggest a half decent hard disk to go into this laptop please?
