Toshiba rma/repair haven't even looked at laptop

Sent a friends laptop off to toshiba as I suspected the hard drive was broken.

It blue screens upon boot (page fault in a non paged area) I ran memtest etc etc all is okay.

I tried the hard drive in my rig and I get the same blue sceen on boot and am unable to access the drive in any way.

They have said they tested the hard drive and it is fine and they have tested the memory and it's fine too so what gives here do you think the hard drive has indeed gone and they haven't even tested it ?
 
Maybe it really isn't a problem with the HDD or the memory...
Could be motherboard? Perhaps they sent it back to you because its B.E.R?

I would phone them, they should be the ones with the answers.
 
They are saying everything is fine ? and to run the recovery cd well it always goes to the BSOD with any disc I use even the official recovery disc.

I think I am right as I tried the hard drive on my desktop and get the same blue screen.

The memory i left for 3 passes on memtest86 and seems fine.
