Toshiba Wireless Problem

We recenly just moved to O2 broadband & got everything set up fine and got all the laptops connected wirelessly. The problem I have got now is that for some reason on my mum's GF Toshiba laptop it connects to the O2 router no problem and the internet works, but the internet only works on the laptop for around 5 mins or so before you are unable to load any pages up at all or it pauses when loading pages even though it is still connected up to the router. The way round it I have found is to disconnected from the O2 router and connect again and then it will work again but only for 5 mins again etc. On my Acer laptop I do not have any of these problems at all. What could the possible cause be?? The Toshiba laptop is a Toshiba A300-1MC and the O2 router is a Wireless box II (i think its the Thomson Speedtouch TG585 v7?)

Would it be worth updating the wireless card to the latest drivers?

Edit - forgot to add, before when we were on Sky & used the Sky Netgear DG834GT router, we never had any problems with the wireless at all. So it is definately something to do with the new O2 router not liking the Toshiba wireless.

Thanks all - Liam
