I know you all must get sick of noobs asking questions but here goes another. I really want to build my first PC. One which will be capable of playing games on Medium settings. I've never thought of building a PC before let alone attempt to build one, so I require a little bit of help. As its my first go Im limiting my budget to £400, am I dreaming in thinking I can get a machine around this price?

Will you require operating system, monitor and KB / mouse.
Hi already have licensed Windows 7 ultimate, and key board and mouse.
Is there a huge difference with ddr3 and ddr2? I have 8gb DDR2 6400 brand new sitting around, can I use that? If I do that will I be able to get a better processor?
