Total noob question on BIOS updating.

First time I've done this, can I assume that by the version number my motherboard could do with an update? And can I also assume the one shown available in the picture is the correct one as it's the only choice?

Cool, thanks guys. Appreciate that, I would have just taken the easy option and pressed Next. Which usually ends in tears!
 
You should be able to use the @BIOS app from gigabyte to flash from windows. Just download the bios file, extract it then point @BIOS to the relevant file. Just done 2 gigabyte boards to get the new ryzen support, flashed multiple bios with no trouble
I'm very tempted but I have read a couple of reports about not doing it over the internet in the Windows environment. Think I may play it safe and save the flash to a drive and do it that way. It does look a bit more faff though, the @BIOS app looks ridiculously easy, glad you had no trouble.
