just received the arctic f12 pro fans, these ones http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FG-037-AR

now everytime ive used a case fan they have the mounting holes on the however the fan seems to be suspended by rubber mounts and tthere are no actaul holes to attach these to the radiator. if i remove the fan and mount from the fan surround and screw that to the rad then the rubber wont fit back in.

please tell me im not that dumb and dont know how to install a fan lol

im attaching them to a radiator and the screw dont actually go thru the fan casing im asssuming i have to remove fan from the shroud and use the rubber mounts to attach to radiator but they are far too big to go thru the little holes

here is a pic as you can see the rubber bushes hold the fan onto the shroud and there is no way to screw in thru the top ( fans can only go one way ) and if you remove the rubber to access the hole then the fan and guard are no longer attached to the shroud

i think i have an idea regarding the too-less installation. im going to try and push the rubber mount thru the screwhole on rad and see if i can somehow get it in that way. also ive seen quite a few wc builds with rad in the top of case using these fans thats why i chose them as i quite liked the look of them
