Total War: Warhammer 2 question

I’m looking at buying this, but I’ve been told that you need the first game too? Is it really necessary for someone that doesn’t care about the lore? What’s missing if you don’t? It doubles the price up to nearly £80, then you’ve got DLC to pay for as well I guess...and that seems unreasonably expensive to me, even if the reviews are good.

Hey try key websites. I got both for £35 recently. You only need the first if you want the races.

Also if you decide to get the first you don't need it installed. Just in your library.

You don't need to own both games, but if you don't own no.1 you'll miss out on the mortal empires campaign, which is definately worth it.

You’re right, it’s significantly cheaper on cdkeys. Looks like I’ll be getting both, then. TY both.

Definitely worth getting both and all dlc's makes for a bigger and better game. Love the total war series.
