Some games although maybe good, just don't offer anything new. e.g. BC2 is a good game but I don't get that into it because I experienced most of what it has to offer 4 or 5 years ago with BF2.
Only games I'v genuinely enjoyed so far this year are ME2 and Mario Galaxy 2... everything else has just felt too familiar and hard to get into.
As some have already said, try something different to the kind of games you are used to playing.
