Totally random question about new car sun visors...

Right, do all passenger side sun visors come with a mirror in them?? How useful are they? is it just for the woman youre driving around so she can fix her makeup? It cant be for looking through the rear screen because its directly aimed forward hence you can only see yourself...

... does it have a real use? the reason i ask is i'd like to take mine out and fit a slimline tft/lcd screen in it..

Mine too, I find it quite annoying at night, i'd rather have it up, but she likes to see whats behind.
