Totally unrealistic limits from Verizon Unlimited?

Will have to feel sorry for those using the Xbox Live video marketplace in the USA then.
Thats a shocking attitude unless they have signed onto some sort of "lite" package.

Edit - sorry read the full article now, that is pretty shocking how a service branded as unlimited can be limited. I understand FUPs etc but that is surely just blatantly false advertising ???

This would be diabolical if it was a regular home Internet connection but it's not. This is what the 5GB cap applies to:

So while I don't think they should be allowed to say it's unlimited, 5GB is actually quite a generous amount for that sort of service.

Reading the article on the Reg it implies that it's a regular home broadband service but if you actually check the story they link to, the article mentions "Verizon EVDO Wireless Data Service".

I agree with Phemo, its not designed to be a permanently used service, its nationwide WiFi access mainly whilst travelling, hence i doubt anyone would be using it for xbox live.

However i do think they're being a bit unethical in their advertising, if you say unlimited it should be, although i dont believe that the US has legislation to prevent companies saying this as we do, so its not illegal, just morally bankrupt.
