I had a problem with i6's touch ID. Simply, it wasn't that good, a lot of the times It couldn't recognise my fingers.

When I bought the i7 plus, the touch ID was great, always works, even when the phone isn't clean. But now I am finding to be less sensitive.

I clean my phone quite a bit with a wet piece of soft clothes, then dry it. Now I am wondering if the touch ID becomes less sensitive with water? Or is that irrelevant.

Anyone have the same problem?

I had a 6 and the touch ID was great, then I got a 6S and the touch ID was so much faster, my 7 is just as good if not better, it recognises my finger print with the slightest touch. Maybe it didn't capture your prints very well when you programmed them?

I'm in the same boat as you. My 6 was great, slow but always read it correctly. My 7+ started off fantastic but now it's seriously about 50/50. I've even readded my fingers and the same thing happens after a while.
