Does anyone know if you can get something like a Matrix Orbital LCD screen but with a touch interface?
What would be ideal would be something like a black and white PDA screen but with the ability to connect it to a USB/Serial connection or even better as a second monitor over VGA.
Alternatively is there anyway to drive an old Palm type device as a remote display so that it could be used like this?

Not that i have seen. You can get 7" touch LCD screens from a competitor for around £210 inc VAT if your budget streches that far.

Thats a wee bit steep I think mate, and 7" would be overkill. If thats the only solution may have to see if I can get my hands on the Optimus Mini 3 for about half that price as I only was after a few external buttons which can be dynamically changed.
Thanks for the input though

Whats wrong with an orbital with a keypad? You can programme the buttons to do most things you would want a display to do.
