US: Touch

We tried the first few episodes, I liked the premiss but it seemed to tail off and get very formulaic very quickly. Gave up after about 5 or so iirc

I like this show and will keep watching for sure but it's no '24' in terms of longevity, hoping it makes it to series 3.

Not too sure about a season 3. There was a post on one of the US TV sites that Keifer is wanted for a pilot for another new show.

Shame really would like them to at least try and wrap up the young boys story.

I've always assumed that it's supposed to be a adult version of the boy, doing the opening and ending voice overs?

Well as a fan even I most now accept the show's almost over for Touch.
It looks like the series is almost certain to end after the current run of 13 episodes.
At least I hope they run all 13 to give the fans some closure :(

Does anybody still enjoy this? I was a HUGE fan of the first episode, the intricate and interweaving storylines were fantastic. But I'm now on the second episode of the second season and honestly? I don't want to waste another 42 minutes of my life :(

It's sad because it seemed so good at the start, but frankly, I find Sutherland's constant surprise at Jake's actions to be more than a little bit trivial, to the point where I honestly cringe for half the show!

I just can't get over Keifer Sutherland not being Jack Bauer.

I watched a couple of episodes and was *just* about starting to separate him from Mr Bauer. And they he said "DAMMIT!", and I was back to square one :D

I'm not overly fond of the show to be honest. I did watch all the first half of the series, but I don't think I'll continue.

In the trailers I've seen for this they're trying to make him appear like Jack Bauer, which actually has put me off as I'd rather something different after 24 got tired towards the end.

Anyone still watching this (on Sky)? I've really enjoyed season 2 so far; season 1 was fairly poor, the side-stories in each episode just seemed annoying, unrelated to the main storyline and were quite preachy at times (kids in Africa etc) so I'm glad they did away with that. The pacing has been much better in season 2, the storyline has come along nicely and even stuff like the music has been much better this season.

Shame it got cancelled. Not a real surprise, I imagine it lost a lot of viewers with season 1. Still, got a few episodes left.

Going to start watching S2 now that GOT and Walking dead are out of the way for a while. Got all the episodes backed up on Sky.
