Touching up paint chips

After washing the car yesterday, I was drying it and noticed a few chips on the drivers door that had bubbled when water had got in. They're pretty small, less than half the size of my little finger nail and I've never noticed them before so they must be relatively new. When the car had dried off, the bubbling had gone down, but the chip was there. Is there anything I can do to stop this getting worse? Will a simple touch up pen be enough to seal the chip as they aren't that noticeable normally. I just want to stop more water getting in and making it any worse.

That was what I was dreading, as colour matching an entire door is probably going to be a nightmare especially if mine has faded a bit. I'm guessing someone has scraped something down the side over the last few weeks as they definitely weren't there last time I washed the car.

Oh, nice! That's not too bad then. I just nipped round the garage for his opinion and he said if I take it to the body shop, they'll want to spray the door and colour match and blend with the wings which will be expensive so he said the same as above. Get a good touch up kit and give that a go first. It can't do any harm and if it works, it's cheaper than getting it down properly.
