Touchscreen Laptop Recommendations

I'm well out of date with Windows based hardware and my missus has asked to help find her a touchscreen laptop.

Does anyone have any experience with them? I've seen Dell and HP have options but my hardware knowledge is limited for mobile CPU power and what is needed to ensure it's not a laggy mess.

She is dead set on the touchscreen functionality and doesn't want to spend more than £800.

The laptop needs to be able to run Power BI which rules out a Surface as a few reviews say they are drastically underpowered for what Power BI needs.

I've got a Dell Inspiron 2 in 1 and it's good, but I don't use the touchscreen much.

Afraid I don't have any experience with a Lenovo laptop personally, but some family have had some in the past and not had any problems with them. But in your price range and touch screen requirements, you could look at something like an IdeaPad 5 2-in-1 Gen 10, on sale on their own website for under £700.

I am sure a Surface Pro 9 will be much faster than any laptop with a 10/11th gen Intel CPU.

PowerBI seems to be extremely RAM intensive and Surface Pro at this price point are only running 8GB.

Not really. You can easily find 16GB versions with that budget.
