Touchscreen modding?

Hi I've seen mods for netbooks in the past for solder less touchscreen mods I've been wanting to do this for my benq g2222hdl monitor what I bought from ocuk I don't have the money to buy another monitor could anyone point me to a good source would really appreciate it I'm a sucker for jumping on tech bandwagons windows 8 is slowly pulling me in

if you dont have the money to buy another monitor, modifying yours is certainly not a good idea

I'm sure buying a kit is cheaper than spending a few hundred on a new mon

I think he means that if you can't afford a new one then it might be risky messing with the one you already have.
