Touchscreen monitors

So with Win8 being heavily based around a touchscreen interface, will multi-touch monitors be cheaper and more readily available?

I am just now downloading the Win8 consumer preview, with as close as I like to sit to my monitor (I use my pc from my bed) I might acquire one by time Win8 is fully released.

aldi get them in at times 20" touch screen and win8 does not appeal to me at all.

I am quite liking it for general web and MSN use. Not tried coding or gaming in it yet, but there is still the traditional desktop so I am not worried.

Cold boot to logged in in around 8 seconds? Yes please.
