Touchscreen question

"The TFT adapter can optionally be connected to a 40-pin MDR connector for the touch screen, beeper, power supply and the LCD."

From here.

I'm not sure that it'd be easy for you to connect the display up to a standard pc, by the looks of things it'll cost you about $500 to get a PCI to 40-pin MDR card.

Sorry that isn't much help, although having said that it is probably possible to get a 40-pin MDR cable and wire it up to another form of connection (in theory anyways).

its not ment for connection to a PC sadly :( or atleast a normaly setup PC

That's what I worked out from the manual for it, although there are ways around these things but they are overly complicated and it generally isn't worth it. :(

really disapointed about this really wanted to get it up and running, however i went and got one of those beetle things from ebay but it needs a different card to accept the screen and again i cant find one. The card it comes with is to big for the cable?

It should run windows 2k or so i am told.
