Touchscreen software

Hey

Looking at buying a touch screen but not sure what software I need in order to use it the way I want to.

Basically I'd like to be able to use a pen feature in Word and write notes throughout the Word document.

I've seen a software that can do this, but its approx £1000 and can't find any home use versions.

Anyone point me in a direction? I'm completley new to this!

you can do it in W7
goto all programs/Accessories/tablet PC/tablet PC input

Just wanted to ask a question, the win7 features are great but now I'm wondering if I can buy some software so that for example I can 'overlay' my screen.

so if I am running a Presentation file, I can write over that with the pen and save it etc.

I've seen it done at uni but like I said software is £2,000 and not looking to spend anywhere near that!

Any ideas?

PowerPoint has this feature built in. You can annotate it with handwriting and save it. Just click the pen icon when running the presentation.
