What is the general consensus on this psu.

Thinking of gettin one for my curent rig which is q6600 @3.2-4x1gb pc6400-

Asus p5b dlx-8800gts 640 mb-1x250gb sata hd,custom watercooling(cpu only)

Looking to replace my 600w x-cleo greatpower

Any feedback welcome

I have one and I quite like it. Very solid PSU with high efficiency, tons of power on tap, and extremely quiet.

Just had a quick google and seems you're existing PSU is a good unit and offers the same 18A max over 4 rails though the combined +12v is not quoted and this could be a little less that the 60A offered on the TT.

What are you looking for from the upgrade? I can't imagine your current system takes much more than 350W to run, have you got abitious plans or are you having issues with the current setup

He's right actually, your current PSU is fine.

Not sure tbh.My psu's got a strange buzzing noise coming from it.Was thinking more from a safety point of view rather than anything else.

I don't wan't my stuff going tick tick boom :)

If you think there is a fault with your PSU then by all means replace or upgrade.

PSU's often make noises though, my Corsair HX 620 and previous Enermax 465 both made high pitched buzzing noised when under load, cetain parts of ORTHOS do this repeatably.

At cetain loads and frequencies the resonance becomes more audible.

The TT looks a good unit, the only other consideration is that some source reccomend a single large 12v rail over multiple smaller rails even if the total output is the same.

Maybe it's just me being paranoid, but having just splashed a load of cash on my q6600 upgrade,I just wanna be on the safe side :)

The noise is quite audible, even when browsing the internet, and having 2 120 fans blazing down my ears,I can still hear it.

Might just keep my eye on it.It really has been a sound psu :)
