Tower Defence - addictive game

Can anyone tell me what the Temple does? I made the tempe, recruited three people but it does nothing and three stickmen appear at the top of the screen, i have the option of clicking on them but they do nothing. ?

When you have the money to buy an archery range, mana pool and workshop, you can assign those men you converted with the temple to them to work. The temple by itself is useless. The stickmen at the top are how many unassigned men you have. You should try to convert non-stop throughout the levels, if possible.

The Ice Towers are the best up to the 730 upgrade. Then the Forest Towers take over with the 640 upgrade. So my results of starting with one Ice and one Forest turned out as such:

As you can see, it nearly covers the map in damage areas, but the right side is lacking. To do it again I would shift the defense over to the right slightly and hope to cover the entire map.

76 is the best I can do so far. Can't touch the 80 others have been getting, and nowhere close to the 90 the designer got. :(


edit: This method gave me much more overall coverage, but let of the area where the baddies are getting full damage. Still, they had the same results:

I'm starting to think 76 is the best you can do, and all the rest are cheaters made by holding the space bar during the last wave. :D

No cheating involved, I had 10 until the last 2 waves, one took me to 1 left, then the second finished me.

80+ club. :cool:

Sorry to take a while to answer this, I've been otherwise engaged (drunk) for the last few days!

I've got as far as coding a working game, but at the minute you have to set the tower locations in code at the start, so not too useful!
Shouldn't take much to add in a bit of user control to the towers now I have the basic mechanics working though.

I've just been doing it during slow periods at work (lots of slow periods!) so I don't have the game to hand now, but will post a copy up here when I'm back in January if anyone is still interested.
 
How far are people getting on "Defend your castle" game? Im on level 44 and its the same everytime - enemies getting ruined by my 500 archers. Am i missing something? If a decent score is much higher than say 100, will be doing it for AGES! :o :eek:

Supposedly it gets to a point where he game looks after itself and can be played without any input from you, it seems you have reached that point lol.
 
Have you got the temple which allows you to convert the attackers?

Then you need to click on the tower to train them
