SOAB! Found a bug!

Building towers on the corners and placing a fresh green tower on the ajacent corner to a fully upgraded green tower DELETES the upgraded tower. Managed it twice in one game, got to 75 but i think i would have got further if i'd not had to rebuild those two towers.

I managed to upgrade one to 15000 (first upgrade) but tbh it didnt seem that brilliant, I have no idea how you would be able to upgrade it again though as you can't get money fast enough to beat the extra life the baddies get.

Consistently at 72 now. Got to 62 with just 2 towers then it all went very wrong

My high score is level 71; that game is really fun. I might have a go at a more complex stratergy in a couple of days, (I have exams currently).

That actually happened to me as well. I didn't notice for a while - probably could have got another level or two further without that hinderance.

I did notice that you can build storm towers directly on top of the other towers though. Wonder if that makes a difference to anything?

start off with the top left one, then when the next upgrade for that is 80 build the one next to it instead. Build those two up until they're maxed out then build the bottom left one and max it out. Continue slowly working your way around the bends.

The one slap-bang in the middle was added at level 69, enabled me to go one level higher.

God this makes me want to reinstall Warcraft 3. Wasted many, many hours playing the various TDs that always struck me as an incredibly inventive use of the map toolbox.

That flash game is good but it's not the same without slow towers, freeze towers, AE towers, flying and invisible mobs, boss waves, mini-games and the most important thing of all, a bunch of bnet plebs to call you a noob when some enemies get through your defence.

I managed 73 with a ice/grass combo, but I messed up placing turrets near the end when I didn't need them yet

Would love another crack, but I figure I've already spent 1 hour at work doing this, lol
