Toy tool set for a toddler with stuff to build?

Bit of a longshot, but perhaps the OcUK hivemind can help - my soon-to-be 3 year old loves "helping" with the DIY and I know he's love some tools of his own to play with.

His grandparents dug out my old Fisher Price set which he loves when he visits. The good thing about that set is that it has some things you can "bolt" together with the tools:

I can't find any modern equivalent and was wondering if anyone knew of anything like it.

The Melissa and Doug wooden tool set comes with plates and nuts and bolts that can be put together with the tools. No electric drill though.

He absolutely loves it. It's cheap enough where even if you don't want the actual workbench part, it's still good value for all the tools and bits you can screw together etc

Had one when I was a nipper, and got a set for my two. Still a winner, though they don't seem to sell some of the tools we have, like the power drill/driver.

That looks good to me. My daughter hates tools that make a loud noise, so all DIY has to be done when she's out.

Made me smile as that is typical boys v girls i think My little boy loves DIY, he gets so excited when a drill or compressor etc is being used
